Ultraviolet germicidal lamps are mainly 254nm and 185nm two main spectral lines, 254nm ultraviolet light through the irradiation of microbial DNA to kill bacteria, 185nm UV light turns O2 into Ozone.

Ozone has a strong oxidizing effect and can effectively kill bacteria. Ozone dispersion can be made up for the ultraviolet only along the straight line of propagation, disinfection of the shortcomings of the dead zone.
